Dennis Kooker – President, Global Digital Business, Sony Music
Dennis Kooker leads Sony Music’s digital business strategy and activities worldwide, working closely with the company’s key global commercial and digital partners and its internal labels and divisions around the world to develop new revenue streams and grow Sony Music’s business across all digital and physical platforms. As partof his responsibilities, he oversees Sony Music’s Digital Business Development, Digital Strategy & Investment and Data & Analytics initiatives globally; its Commercial and Distribution strategy and operations in the U.S; and its Podcast commercial strategy and operations worldwide. He also represents Sony Music on the boards of a number of companies operating in the digital space.
Geoff Taylor – Executive Vice President, Artificial Intelligence, Sony Music
In June 2023, Geoff Taylor was appointed the Executive Vice President for Artificial Intelligence at Sony Music with responsibility for aligning and helping coordinate the work of every part of the global business that touches AI. Taylor brings decades of music industry experience to the business. From 2007 to 2022, he was the Chief Executive Officer of the BPI, the UK Trade Body for recorded music, where he advocated for the strategic value of the music industry, highlighting the importance of recorded music to jobs, investment and maintaining the UK’s global competitiveness as well as led the fight against music piracy and fraud. During his tenure, he also expanded the reach, size and influence of the BRIT Awards. Prior to joining the BPI, Taylor was General Counsel and Executive Vice-President at global recorded music trade body, the IFPI from 2005-2007.
Victoria Oakley – CEO at IFPI
Prior to joining IFPI in 2024, Oakley was CEO of global strategic communications and advocacy consultancy, Portland. Oakley also spent nearly two decades in the British Diplomatic Service, with roles in London, Paris, Brussels, Washington D.C. and the Eastern Caribbean, where she was High Commissioner until 2016. She then spent three years at Portland before joining Google as the Global Public Policy Director. Oakley returned to Portland in 2022 to take up the CEO role, leading a 300-strong team of strategic communications and public affairs professionals across London, Doha, Singapore, Nairobi, Paris, Berlin and Brussels.
Dan Neely – Co-Founder and CEO Vermillio
Dan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Vermillio, an AI licensing and protection platform on a mission to build the guardrails for a generative AI internet. The new world of AI offers boundless opportunities for talent, movie studios, record labels and creators to open new streams of revenue and expand their audiences. Providing cutting-edge protection and control, Vermillio’s TraceID, enables them to take advantage of the benefits of Generative AI in a safe and secure environment while understanding where their valuable data is being used.
