As AI regulation evolves on both sides of the Atlantic, businesses face increasing uncertainty around compliance, innovation, and international collaboration. With the UK refining its “pro-innovation” approach and the EU implementing the AI Act, the US presents a contrasting picture, balancing federal oversight with powerful state-level initiatives. Now, with the Trump administration advocating for AI deregulation, the global landscape is shifting once again.
This session will provide critical insights into how these geo-political changes and the potential rollback of regulations in the US could impact the UK’s AI strategy. Can transatlantic businesses align with multiple, sometimes conflicting, regulatory regimes? And what role will the UK play in bridging the gap between US and EU approaches? Join us for an in-depth discussion on the future of AI regulation and the risks and opportunities for global businesses.
Please note that this event is for UKAI members and their guests.
Non-members may apply and will be added to the waiting list. We will notify you by email if there are any spaces, which will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
