Organised by Politics UK, this exclusive Westminster event brings together Labour parliamentarians, councillors, elected representatives, members, and invited thought leaders for a live “In Conversation” with Michael Shanks MP, Minister of State for Energy.
As the Government brings forward its Energy Independence Bill, this event will provide a focused forum for in-depth discussion on the future of the UK’s energy system and the long-term reforms needed to strengthen national security, protect living standards and build greater economic resilience.
The discussion will explore how the UK can scale up homegrown renewable energy, accelerate investment in clean power, strengthen infrastructure, improve affordability and reduce exposure to international instability and hostile actors.
