The UK is home to one of the world’s most advanced life sciences ecosystems, combining leading universities, biotechnology companies, genomic research and a national health system that connects scientific discovery directly with patient care. However, translating innovation into routine NHS adoption remains slow and fragmented.
This parliamentary session will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers and innovators to explore how the UK can accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies across the life sciences sector and the NHS.
Using Cambridge’s globally recognised life sciences cluster as a case study, the discussion will focus on how the UK can move more effectively from scientific discovery to system wide deployment, strengthening patient outcomes while supporting economic growth.
