To mark International Women’s History Month, UKAI’s Women in AI Working Group is convening leaders from across technology, business, policy and investment for an afternoon focused on one core question: how do we move from conversation to measurable progress on equity in artificial intelligence?
The Increasing Equity in AI Summit will explore the structural, cultural and commercial barriers that continue to shape participation and leadership in the AI ecosystem. From access to capital and scaling opportunities, to representation in technical roles and decision-making spaces, the session will examine where change is most urgently needed – and how it can be delivered in practice.
Bringing together founders, executives, policymakers, investors and practitioners, the summit will also address the role of allyship, leadership accountability and ecosystem collaboration in building a more inclusive AI sector. The emphasis will be on practical action – identifying tangible steps organisations can take to support women building, deploying and governing AI technologies.
This event forms part of UKAI’s broader commitment to strengthening diversity across the UK AI landscape and ensuring the growth of the sector reflects the full breadth of talent across society.
