The UKAI Life Sciences Working Group is launching this November, bringing together senior leaders from across the sector to shape the future of responsible, effective, and scaled AI adoption in UK health, care, and life sciences.
Hosted by the UK’s only trade association representing the entire AI ecosystem, this new industry-led group will drive alignment across government, regulators, industry, and the NHS. It will support the delivery of the Life Sciences Sector Plan, the NHS 10 Year Health Plan for England, and the AI Opportunities Action Plan, ensuring that the UK remains at the forefront of safe, ethical, and commercially sustainable AI innovation.
During the launch session, attendees will:
Explore the group’s objectives, scope, and first-year programme, including guidance on secure data use, aligned governance, and standardised evaluation metrics.
Hear how the Working Group will shape policy, contribute to transparent adoption pathways, and build a future-ready ecosystem for AI-enabled life sciences businesses.
Learn about opportunities for members to shape positions, co-author outputs, and take part in UKAI events, policy briefings, showcases, and parliamentary engagement.
Meet the leadership team, including Natasa Mihajlovic (NostraPharma), Adama Ibrahim (VP Digital Transformation), and Matt Warman (former Minister of State for AI).
Who should attend?
Senior figures from life sciences, digital health, AI, regulation, data partnerships, health policy, NHS innovation, and those shaping commercial and clinical deployment of AI.
