Unlocking Sovereign AI: High Performance Computing, Innovation and Funding

Join us for a webinar in partnership with the Hartree Centre, home to one of the UK’s leading supercomputing capabilities. The session will introduce the Hartree Centre, its role in supporting advanced digital innovation, and how its expertise in high-performance computing, AI and data science can help strengthen the UK’s sovereign AI capability. Hartree will also share examples of researchers and businesses that have used its facilities and technical support to accelerate innovation, demonstrating how access to world-class computing infrastructure can turn ambitious ideas into practical applications for real world impact.

The webinar will also cover funding opportunities such as the currently live ' Digital Innovation Fund' and explain how the Hartree team can support SMEs to access expertise, infrastructure and collaboration opportunities. There will be time for audience questions, giving participants the chance to explore how Hartree Centre’s capabilities could support their own work and the wider AI ecosystem. This session will also help identify where future engagement with Hartree should be focused, ensuring that collaboration is shaped around the needs of innovators, businesses and researchers developing the UK’s AI capability.
