Join us in Liverpool for a day of collaboration and insight as part of the Get Britain Growing national series, in partnership with Chamber UK. This major regional event with bring together senior figures from politics, business, and civic leadership to explore the North West’s role in driving national economic growth.
UKAI members are invited to take part in this conference exploring a range of sectors including clean energy, infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, and skills, culminating in an afternoon sprint session focused on the AI sector. This interactive workshop will bring together UKAI members and regional leaders to co-develop practical proposals for strengthening the North West’s AI ecosystem, from skills and investment to adoption and responsible innovation.
The conference programme includes keynote speeches and panel discussions with leading political voices, including Bill Esterson MP, Chair of the Energy Security and Net Zero Committee, Sarah Smith MP, the Government’s Opportunity Mission Champion, and local MPs Aphra Brandreth, Patrick Hurley, Peter Dowd and Charlotte Nichols, alongside other regional leaders.
This is a valuable opportunity for UKAI members to position AI at the heart of regional growth conversations and to engage directly with the civic and political leaders shaping the North West’s economic future.
In the evening, there is also the opportunity to attend a separately ticketed dinner event organised by North West Labour, featuring Rt Hon Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester.
