The creative sectors have been voicing concerns and asking questions about how international copyright law can be enforced in the context of AI. The government put out a consultation on 17th December 2024, running until 25th February 2025, on proposals to balance the rights of creatives and a legal framework which enables the AI industry to grow in the UK. Rights holders and creators in music, film, TV, journalism and across creative industries are responding. This event will share concerns and possible solutions for protecting rights holders whilst enabling growth in the UK’s AI industry, involving key individuals and organisations across creative and AI sectors.
