Increasing Equity In AI Summit

The UKAI Women in AI - Increasing Equity in AI Summit, held on 18 March at TrueLayer in London, brought together leaders from across the AI and technology ecosystem to explore how we can build a more inclusive and equitable future for artificial intelligence.

The event convened founders, policymakers, researchers, investors and industry leaders for an afternoon of thoughtful discussion, beginning with a fireside conversation featuring Baroness Thangam Debbonaire, Sheridan Ash and Lara Lewington, followed by panels on Empowering Women Founders in AI, featuring Davina Schonle and Sharon Moore, and How to Encourage and Empower Women in the AI & Tech Sector, featuring Zehra Chatoo and Sheridan Ash, chaired by Beth Curtis-Clarke.

Across the discussions, a clear message emerged: advancing equity in AI requires not only representation, but intentional leadership, structural change and sustained collaboration across the ecosystem.
