Newcastle Practical AI Meetup with Mindstone

Following Leeds, we brought the Practical AI Meetup to Newcastle, where another packed room gathered at Barclays Eagle Labs to explore how AI is being applied in real-world settings.

The session opened with Peter Cheyne (Right Brain AI), who built a live AI agent on stage demonstrating how call transcripts can be transformed into structured outputs, while unpacking the challenge many teams face: moving from a working demo to something reliable, secure, and scalable in everyday use.

This was followed by Kofo Adebiyi, who walked through multiple live workflows and offered a behind-the-scenes look at what working in an AI-native company looks like in practice.

Delivered in partnership with Mindstone, the evening continued with strong engagement, practical insight, and open discussion, reinforcing the growing momentum of the AI community in Newcastle.

We look forward to building on this with the launch of a Newcastle UKAI chapter in the coming months.
