Sovereign AI is Britain's ability to design, build and control the AI systems our economy, public services and national security increasingly depend on, not through borrowed infrastructure or rented rules, but through UK-owned capability and UK-set standards.

Entry Criteria

Companies must be headquartered in the UK, or have been founded in the UK within the last 5 years.

You do not need to be a UKAI member to enter.

Entries are submitted into themed categories. Companies may enter more than one category, but may not enter the same category more than once. Where a company submits more than one entry to the same category, the most recent entry will be used and any earlier entries for that category will be discounted.

The product, platform or capability entered must be live and in active use, not purely conceptual or pre-launch.

Achievements, milestones or metrics cited in the entry must fall within the 12 months prior to the entry deadline.

Entries should include supporting evidence, such as metrics, case studies, or customer references, rather than marketing copy alone.

There is no fee to enter.

All entries are reviewed in confidence by an independent judging panel.

Shortlisted finalists are expected to attend the awards ceremony on the 2nd of November.

Entries must be submitted by 23:59 on Friday 2nd October.
